Field Service Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support and services (include installation, maintenance, repairs, etc.) to customers of environment protection or hydrological area in China

- Review service requests for repairs and maintenance, determine nature of problem and recommend appropriate solutions

- Identify customer needs and expectations and formulate an offering to meet those needs

- Provide support to the sales team to expand and maintain products sales

- Implementation of good safety practice of technical service activity

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in process automation, electrical and electronics engineering, instrument industry, experience in water quality analysis or water current measurement is preferred

- Good communication skills and team spirit

- Aptitude to work under pressure and independently

- Strong ability of problem solving in fields

- Customer and result oriented

- Committed, responsible and initiative working attitude

- Fluency in spoken and written English is preferred

- Flexibility in travel

Software Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for providing software supports to our System Integration team.

· Assist and support the YSI China System Team on software related issues.

· Work with technical team to ensure that product lines are supported to a high level of competency.

· Works with significant coaching by immediate supervisor regarding prioritization of tasks, fundamental structure and goals of deliverables.

JOB COMPETENCIES, AND COMPETENCY STANDARD NEEDED

? Must have in-depth knowledge of VisualBasic or C++

? Knowledge of RS232 and TCP/IP communication preferable

? Ability to compile and deliver an audience specific presentation.

? Ability to communicate in English – both oral and written.

? Ability to plan and implement effectively.
