Department Description
GSM Quality department is to manage and drive through the PLT the delivery of software quality into GSM/UMTS programs across the lifecycle to ensure the product gets to market with Right First Time quality. They are Software Quality Lead driving the continued improvement within GSM/UMTS engineering organization via utilising appropriate DFSS / DSS (Design For Six Sigma/Digital Six Sigma) or other advanced quality planning/control tools that continually raise the standard of software quality within programs
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
1). Promote the use and knowledge of software quality improvement techniques across the organization
2). Interface with engineering operations to manage, escalate and resolve customer issues
3). Understand, analyze and use data from across the business to drive quality improvements.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Capable of working with minimal supervision to achieve Qualification results
- Good working knowledge of English
- Good team work, Self motivated and be assertive
