Job Title: Software Engineer
The End User Service Engineers primary responsibility is to be the service engineering lead for HPIT End User specific technologies, programs and projects as directed by the HP IT End User Services organization. The service engineer works as a member of an engineering team developing, designing, and maintaining one or more of products or technologies.
Job description:
1. Is responsible for the quality and completeness of assignments, including investigation tasks, initial design, development, bug fixing, quality engineering, documentation, and general product/technology maintenance.
2. Recognizes and points out design problems during the project-planning process.
3. Responds to deep technical queries from deep level support or service manager
4. Reviews new product or techology, evaluates and qualifies supplier technology, and provides feedback to the service manager and/or program/project manager on product/technology features and project schedules.
5. Support the integration of tools & process into solutions
6. Accountable for the deployment of the service/release including providing training
7. Interact with oversea partners and clients directly.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelors (undergraduate) degree or Masters (graduate) degree in Computer science or related majors.
2. At least 2+ years of practical software development working experience in Web or Windows Application.
3. Knowledge of .NET Framework, proficient in technologies as below:
C# /
MSXML
SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005
4. SharePoint development experience
5. Ability to communicate verbally and written in English
6. Quick learner, good team worker and active person.
