Brief Job Description for HP-UX LDAP Engineer

Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) technology provides a full range of directory integration on HP-UX. You will be responsible to run reliability, functional, regression, performance and PFA tests on each release. Also write new tests for the new functionality in each release and for each defect fixed. Keep detailed records of defects/problems found.

Basic Requirements for HP-UX LDAP Engineer

[MUST] Testing experience in the PERL, shell script, PFA, and Expect. Expert in HP-UX will distinguish the candidate.
[MUST] Demonstrated, current Network Administration experience including experience configuring both IPv4 and IPv6 networks is required. This includes address mechanics, cabling, routers, switches and common network administration tools.
[MUST] Knowledgeable in networking debugging tools, and SCM concepts.
[MUST] Good written and spoken English skills required to work with HP Support and HP documentation teams.
[MUST] Review English documentation for technical accuracy.
[WANT] Knowledge of LDAP directory installation and usage.
[WANT] HP-UX System Administration (hardware and software) experience is a high want. This includes installation, configuration of HP-UX. Experience with Software Distributor, and Ignite.
[WANT] Knowledgeable in industry and open source networking test tools.

Brief Job Description for HP-UX SSH/SSL Engineer

Port latest code from and to HP-UX. Modify code where needed to make it work properly on HP-UX. Run reliability, functional, regression, performance and PFA tests on each release. Also write new tests for the new functionality in each release and for each defect fixed. Keep detailed records of defects/problems found. Deliver new enhancements and functions to special customers.

Basic Requirements

[MUST] Bachelors degree or higher in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Computer Engineering)
[MUST] Software development experience in the C language Under Unix or Linux system, shell script, and Expect.
[MUST] Software development experience with Unix socket programming.
[MUSH] Proficient with GDB debug tools.
[MUST] Ability to work with support organizations and respond quickly to customer inquiries and requests.
[MUST] Good written and spoken English skills required to work with HP Support and HP documentation teams.
[MUST] Review English documentation for technical accuracy.
[MUST] Review defects, isolate the problem, implement fixes and provide documentation.

[WANT] HP-UX System Administration (hardware and software) experience is a high want. This includes installation, configuration of HP-UX. Experience with Software Distributor, and Ignite.
