Sr. Software Engineer

Description:
Laszlo Systems-the leader in transforming web experience.
We are seeking a seasoned, energetic, self-motivated full-time Software Engineer in the Beijing, China area to bring Laszlo Systems products and solutions (Messaging application, Webtop) to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Familiar with Laszlo Product (Webtop-The Web2.0 Desktop ), perform product feature implementation, product customization or integration as required. Key product modules include Web mail, Web calendar, Web contact, Advertising, Web photo with integrated user experience.
Work with technical project lead to design and develop custom RIA applications responding to customers business need. The development includes UI (mostly in OpenLaszlo) and server side components (mostly in java).
Perform design review, code review and solution presentation as required
Work with project manager to produce & meet project milestone and schedule.
Write project related documents: product requirement document, technical design documents, best practices, lesson learned etc.
Work with our RIA designers, product team, QA team to deliver high quality solutions.
Occasionally travel to California, US to obtain product or services training when it is required.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Information Science or Engineering related field
-3+ years of proven, relevant, web development & enterprise application development

experience using java, J2EE, Spring framework, hibernate, JSP, javascript, XML, HTTP & HTML.
-Strong OOP experience, MVC.
-Knowledge of databases (SQL, LDAP)
-Knowledge of web-based solutions architecture, and the underlying technologies (network, web servers, SOA, REST)
-Experience with OpenLaszlo, Flex programming or willing to learn this cool technology.
-Good verbal and written English communication skills.
-Ability to work in a dynamic, project milestone driven, team collaborated development

and QA environment.
-Experienced in working with Foreign own company is a plus.
-Experience in building messaging systems or familiar with webmail implementation is preferred.
