This includes contribution on feature design specifications, development time estimation, code implementation of functionality, testing, analysis and optimization on the implementation Work closely with other team members, including engineers, managers and architects from MicroStrategy headquarters Individual must have ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members Qualifications: Education: Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree in Computer Science. GPA 3.5+/ 4.0 or 80+/100 Strong knowledge on data structures, algorithms, Operating System and other Computer Science fundamentals Fluent in Object Oriented programming languages, such as C++, Java. Strong Object-Oriented design and programming skills Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills in English Positive attitude to work as part of a team Familiarity with RDBMS is highly desirable Software Engineer in Test Location: Hangzhou, China Role and Responsibility: Work together with other team members (including engineers at MicroStrategy headquarters) to contribute to product feature design, responsible for testing strategy and plans Apply software design and programming skills to create automated test tools, implement API level automated tests Creatively use programming approaches to develop random, combinational, feature and stress test suites to deliver robust, scalable and high performance products Execute and analyze automated test results to improve test code coverage. Ability to debug at product source code level Reproduce, debug and isolate issues found at customer sites as well as internally, and verify fixes Individual must have ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members Qualifications: Education: Bachelor, Master degree in Computer Science. GPA 3.5+/ 4.0 or 80+/100 Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals Good programming skills in C/C++, Java Strong analytical, design, debugging, testing and problem solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills in English Positive attitude to work as part of a team Familiarity with RDBMS is a plus Software Quality Engineer Location: Hangzhou, China Role and Responsibility: Contribute, as part of a team, towards organizational goal of providing high quality products Design, maintain, and execute test cases using knowledge of feature specifications Test, through all stages of the software lifecycle, MicroStrategy products that are used by both end users and IT administrators Work with software engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarter to analyze test results and debug problems Qualifications: Education: Master or PhD degree in Engineering field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science. Excellent school record.
