Position:                        SIFE China Program Manager

The Position:               

 

The Program Manager will have extensive interaction with numerous universities. The key duties of the PM will include:

 

·         Driving and implementing SIFE China’s vision – “Helping people achieve their dreams through free enterprise education”.

·         Driving and implementing SIFE China Programs in universities, including leading university recruitment, promoting SIFE on campuses and training students and faculty advisors.

·         Running SIFE China’s program operations, and managing / developing a small team of part-time staff and volunteers.

 

The Program Manager will implement SIFE China’s mission to provide college and university students with the best opportunity to make a difference and to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise. The Program Manager will also be deeply involved in the development and communication of information and issues affecting the SIFE community. 

 

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to managing the full range of SIFE China Program activities including:

 

·         Strengthening the quality and sustainability of SIFE programs;

·         Organizing National and Regional Competitions and other events;

·         Help SIFE China Program Manager to organize the SIFE China National Competition and other events;

·         Implementing policies, instructions and resolutions, while advising on future programs and needs.

·         Supervision of part time program staff and hiring, supervising, managing, evaluating, and developing SIFE China part time program staff, alumnus and volunteers.

·         Developing and facilitating the work of SIFE alumnus and volunteers in support of SIFE China’s program.

·         Increasing the number of universities participating in SIFE program.

·         Assisting SIFE China General Manager finishing specific projects

 

Selection criteria

 

·   Relevant work experience in training and/ or event management will be preferred

·   Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

·   Good interpersonal and communication skills

·   Volunteerism experience would be a plus

·   Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. CET-8 is a plus

·   Must be passionate about community and youth development

·   Strong in self-learning and highly self-motivated

·   An excellent team player

·   Able to work under pressure

·   Strong work ethics and integrity

·   SIFE alumni and those with SIFE experience will have an added advantage
