| Aqua Bar: Part-time Work for Students Aqua Bar and Restaurant Aqua will be a high-class international bar and restaurant located in the Lujiazui district of Shanghai, right in the middle of Yanlord Gardens: one of the most beautiful and important residential developments in Shanghai. Aqua occupies the top floor of the Yanlord Gardens’ Club House, and covers more than 800 sq.m. including large balconies on all sides. Aqua has magnificent views of the swimming pool, gardens and the skyscrapers of modern Shanghai. The residents of Yanlord Gardens come from all over the world. (over 70 different nationalities) and some are extremely successful and important. The people working at Aqua will have the chance to socialize with our guests, and learn more about the international community. Aqua Bar and Restaurant will feature two different venues: The “Day” venue will offer a Health Food Restaurant with light and healthy food, and a Juice Bar where fresh fruit juice will be prepared to the customer’s order. European coffee and Chinese tea will also be served throughout the day. The venue will be a comfortable environment suitable for families. We will establish a programme of cultural classes during the afternoon and early evening. The “Night” venue will offer a more sophisticated and elegant atmosphere where Chinese people and foreigners can socialize and relax after work. We will also have a programme of live music throughout the week, including Jazz, classical Chinese music and even Chinese hip-hop! Plan for Aqua Juice Bar Aqua is looking to recruit bright and enthusiastic students, who would like to have the opportunity to work part-time in our international bar and restaurant. The hours will be flexible to suit your studies. We expect that most students will want to work during the night shift which will last from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m. As well as a basic salary, students will be able to enjoy a delicious dinner from the Aqua restaurant menu, and also share in the generous tips left by our wealthy customers. Job Requirements: 1.Beautiful personality and appearance! 2.Excellent spoken English skills, and other languages would also be a great advantage. 3.Enthusiastic and sociable, with the ability to make people from different backgrounds feel comfortable. 4.Able to work for around 20 hours per week, on a flexible basis.
