JOB DESCRIPTION
This freelance/internship position will involve conducting research on China’
s developer community and investigating how the habits, tendencies, skills an
d preferences of China developers ripples throughout the entire IT sector to
shape enterprise purchase trends, software development directions and market
perception. The candidate will be responsible for identifying key software ve
ndors and large enterprise users and profiling the developer community within
the organization. Results will then be provided in a template that is checke
d and confirmed by Springboard Research. The candidate will be coached and t
rained in order to employ the proper technique. Candidates can mention this
job in CVs and ask for references from Springboard Research.

TASKS
• Identify key software vendors and enterprise users
• Profile the demographic make-up of the developer community within the
organization
• Identify and analyze the growth factors behind the developer communit
y
• Conduct desk research


Preferable Education Qualification

Bachelors Degree, or a student pursuing one (Major in statistics, economics,
computer science and electrical engineering preferred)


Preferable Work Experience
NA


Industry Experience
Market Research, Business Consulting, IT Journalism, Marketing; however, a s
tudent with limited experience will be considered
