Reuters Technology (China) Limited is looking for a postgraduate student to take internship of Software Tester, Software Process Technology. We are looking for a people to test, develop, configure and maintain software process tools in order to meet business needs. The individual should have strong software test capabilities.

 
实习职位一：Intern Project Coordinator (Data Analysis)
                       Thomson Reuters公司招聘应用数学系实习生！(本科，硕士均可考虑)

实习时间:   能实习至少4个月，每周至少3天全职实习                                                                            
项目组:    Project Office, Process & Quality
汇报: Software Process Manager

职位要求：
Having at least 4 months (4 days a week) available for internship. Major in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.
Good statistical knowledge on various distributions and their application criteria.
Being capable of regression analysis.
Experience in commercial statistical tools, e.g., MS Excel, SPSS, etc
Good spoken and written English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Likes working with numbers and graphs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect and publish project, non-project and staff measurements from software development teams and project timesheets.
Provide daily administration support to Process & Quality team.
Analyse and create baselines according to eligible statistical process control techniques.
Prepare regular reports of metrics to senior management.

 

实习职位二：Software Tester (Internship)
工作地点:   北京上地软件园
实习时间:   能实习至少4个月，每周至少3天全职实习
汇报对象 Software Process Manager
项目组:    Project Office, Process & Quality

 

职位要求:
Postgraduate and major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related fields.
Software testing experience with appropriate knowledge of configuration management system, e.g., SVN, ClearCase, CVS, etc.
Experience in Oracle/other RMDB.
Experience in web development by Java / Java Scrip. Familiarity of Tomcat or Apache is a plus.
VBA / VB programming experience is a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good spoken and written English is mandatory.
Be available at 6 months and can work 4 days a week at least.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test software process and productivity tools to ensure the quality of the tools
Develop, configure and maintain software process and productivity tools.

 

实习职位三：Intern Systems Engineer
工作地点:   北京上地软件园
实习时间:   能实习至少6个月，每周至少3天全职实习
汇报对象 Software Process Manager
项目组:    Process tea

职位要求：
A student aspiring towards a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related technical field.
Familiar and experienced with system setups and maintenance, troubleshooting of servers and networks (e.g. Microsoft, Sun, EMC, HP, Cisco)
Good understanding of multiple technologies such as TCP/IP, IP telephony, WAN/LAN, network security, virtualisation.
Basic knowledge of Unix.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written) in English and Mandarin.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the Principal Systems Engineer in the support the site's technical infrastructure:
Participate in IT infrastructure projects e.g. technical IT fitout of new office space.
Help manage the organisation's development and test labs. This includes management of: space, power, cooling, network communications, security, physical assets, software licenses, etc.
Help manage, monitor, analyse network traffic and performance.
Help run technical audits for server room and desktop hardware and software licensing compliance.
