Software Engineer Intern(Shanghai)
The job involves:
1.Following up with product team on any clarification or documentation that may be required to successfully test the product.
2.Setting up of the test machines, switches and appropriate set up required for testing the product at hand.
3.Installation of the OS, product patches & depots and bringing up the machine to the state as required by the product that is under test.
4.Installation of test tools, scripts and test suites that are required for testing.
5.Executing the tests as per the test plan.
6.Identifying manual tests that are not covered by automated test suites and running the manual tests.
7.Analyzing the logs created during the test suite run and filing defects with appropriate severity on the product team.
8.Understanding the product design and requirements.
Job Requirements & Skills Required:
-MUST have
1.Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering related area.
2.Excellent English and communication skills (written and verbal).
3.Excellent problem solving skills;
4.Ability to identify the tests based on the product design document.
5.Ability to analyze the test results and identifying whether it’s a product issue and filing well documented defects against product.
6.Have demonstrated ability to learn a new technology quickly.
7.Self motivated and self managed individual
-High Want:
1.Experience in HPUX environment.
2.Worked on device driver, networking stack testing.
3.Experience in general UNIX/LINUX environment.
4.Perl, shell scripts and C programming knowledge.
5.Prior experience in setting up the test machines, configuration of switches or other networking components.
6.Test planning, coming up with test design and plan documents.
7.Has gone through the entire product development life cycle.
8.Ability to plan a project and has demonstrated strong ownership
9.Prioritizing the work at hand and scheduling test experience. |
