General Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: You will be joining a shift team in China that provides professional 24/7 IT service to the client's production systems. You will need to monitor the production systems and handle incidents to minimize business impact caused by production issues.
The Production Support Analyst L2 reports to the Shift Leader. When the Shift Leader is not present, s/he reports directly to the Team Leader.
Job Responsibility: ·Monitoring of all application processes/batches ·Day to day production issues handling ·Liaise with L1, L3, IM and other teams to resolve production issues. · Make sure work done is captured in ticketing systems provided by the client (such as GIMS or JIRA) ·Participating in conference calls ·Automate manual workarounds as required ·Participate and action deployment plans when required ·Provide training to new starters and junior team members ·Meet the client's and internal compliance requirements ·Create, maintain and update support knowledge base as required ·Fulfil internal duties requested by the company
Academic/Educational Requirements: ·Bachelor's degree - any discipline is acceptable ·CET - 6 or equivalent spoken and written English level
Required Skills: Required: ·Very good English, both written and spoken ·Excellent communication skills ·Understanding of SQL and / or UNIX/Linux ·Windows - 12 months or above ·Solid command of Chinese
Preferred: ·Experience of working in UNIX Shell scripting - 6 months or above Perl scripting, Sybase, HTML would be an asset ·ITIL knowledge ·Good understanding of database especially in Oracle · Investment Banking knowledge ·Software development experience ·Support experience
