Assistant Trainer Intern (英语助理培训师实习生)
Position Overview:
Disney is looking for highly motivated Chinese interns to support the academic staff at Disney English Language Learning Centers in Shanghai. Academic staff interns will work in a supportive role alongside native English speaking Trainers and Chinese bilingual Assistant Trainers to provide a highly engaging and effective premium language learning experience.
Academic staff interns report directly to the Language Learning Director (LLD) in the Disney English Learning Center and indirectly to the Center's Trainers and Assistant Trainers as necessary.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and management (e.g. organization, cleaning, and inventorying) of classroom teaching materials including teaching props, stationery supplies, learner activity sheets, etc.
• Monitoring children before and after their lessons begin and during class breaks and helping children to transition from the Center's waiting area to their classroom and back.
• Using digital cameras, document cameras, video cameras, and voice recording devices to capture artifacts of student work during classroom activities.
• Data entry of student assessment results and other information and uploading images, video recordings, and voice recordings of children to the Center's computer system.
• Assisting in the organization of staff outings and team building events.
• Helping to organize and facilitate special Center events such as holiday events, open houses, student performances, etc.
• Performing a wide range of administrative duties such as printing, photocopying, binding, ordering materials, couriering items between Centers and the Disney English head office, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Language Learning Director, Trainers, or Assistant Trainers.
Professional Development:
• Based upon the strength of their performance in their role, Disney English academic staff interns may have the opportunity to become Assistant Trainers at a Disney English Center following their internship.
Job Qualifications:
• Strong command of the English language
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of computer software
• Flexibility to work some evening hours and some Saturdays.
• Major in education or English
Course Consultant Intern (课程顾问实习生)
Position Overview:
Disney is looking for highly driven Course Consultant Interns to assist Course Consultant in executing all sales activities for Disney English Language Learning Centers in Shanghai. The main focus will be assisting Course Consultant to effectively drive center sales efforts to ensure that monthly learner enrollment meets Disney goals and courses are filled in accordance with the sales and marketing strategy for the business.
The Course Consultant reports to the Senior Course Consultant.
General Roles and Responsibilities:
Generating customers:
• Assisting Course Consultant to handle initial inquiries from parents as well as consultations and conferences with parents.
• Contacting potential customers through both online and offline marketing activities and scheduling personal sales meetings/consultations in the center.
• Communicating with in-bound telephone inquiries about the Disney English Language Learning Center.
• Following up with potential customers including those scheduled for appointments in the center as well as those that visited a center but have not yet decided to purchase a program.
Managing customer interaction:
• Assisting Course Consultant to maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate sales methods, and relevant internal liaisons, while optimizing quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned by the (Sr.) Course Consultant
Delivering customer satisfaction:
• Demonstrating and upholding a high level of energy and spirit and always maintaining a professional appearance.
• Following up with existing customers to solicit feedback about the courses and explore renewals and referrals.
.Maintaining the Disney standard of customer interaction by:
- Providing a warm and sincere greeting to guests
- Being proactive in anticipating guests' needs
- Reacting immediately to help resolve a guest's request
Professional Development:
• Based upon the strength of their performance in their role, Disney English Course Consultant interns may have the opportunity to become Course Consultant at a Disney English Center following their internship.
Job Qualifications:
• Fluency in English.
• Computer proficiency, particularly in working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good verbal communication and persuasive skills, and the ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility to work some evening hours and some Saturdays.

Marketing/Sales Intern, Publishing (市场/销售实习生,出版部门)
Position Overview:
Disney Publishing of Greater China is seeking a highly-motivated intern to support the sales and marketing function of the unit's licensed publishing business activities. The intern will work closely with and support the unit's sales & marketing team of 2, the Books manager and Magazine manager.
The sales/marketing Intern reports dually to the Sales & Marketing manager and Books Manager.
General Roles and Responsibilities:
Collect and distribute traditional book retailer information on a regular basis
Monitor and report to business unit on-going Hypermarket title shipments, sell in and sell thru
Collect and develop on-going Wal-mart POS data analyses
Assist in coordinating promotional displays and/or production follow-up
Prepare Market research and analyses upon request
Support business unit's systems inputting activities (will be trained on Pubworld, GTL, Invision, Insight)
Special Projects - develop new e-newsletter for retailers/distributors and other Publishing-related projects that may arise
Job Qualifications:
Masters degree candidate in marketing or related degree (such as business); top-level undergraduate senior in related field will be considered
Previous office experience in a multinational company preferred
Excellent spoken and written English language skills; knowledge of business/marketing/sales terminology a plus
Energetic, good with details, team spirit orientation
Computer skills - excel, word, powerpoint
