Momentive Performance Materials was created from the sale of GE Advanced Materials to Apollo Management, L.P. in December 2006. We are the world second-largest producer of silicones and silicone derivatives and a global leader in the development and manufacture of products derived from quartz and specialty ceramics. Silicones are multi-functional family of materials used in thousands of products and serve as a critical ingredient in many construction, transportation, personal care, electronic, consumer and agricultural uses. Silicones are generally used as an additive to a wide variety of end-use products in order to provide or enhance certain of their attributes, such as resistance (heat, ultraviolet light and chemical), lubrication, adhesion or viscosity. Some of the most well-know and end-use product applications include bath and shower caulk, pressure sensitive adhesive labels, foam products, cosmetics and tires. Our Quartz division manufactures quartz, specialty ceramics and crystal products for use in a number of high-technology industries, which typically require products made to precise specifications.

 For the purpose of building up manufacturing and engineering management talent pipe line, developing future operation management leader, we set up OMT program.
The Operation Management Trainee Program (OMT) accelerates the excellent new graduates with bachelor or master degree in major of chemical engineering, Polymer Science or Chemical Mechanical etc. savvy talent through a structured training program, combining job assignments in production, EHS, supply chain... interactive seminars and trainings.
Candidates are hired into Nantong Plant, Momentive Performance Materials China.

OMT program is :

• A two-year program consisting of 3 eight-month cross-function rotational assignments within the manufacture of Momentive Performance Materials in China.
  
• Program participants strengthen their technical knowledge, processing management and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum consisting of classroom training, online training symposiums.
  
• Application Close Date: Nov. 18th, 2008
  
• On Board Date: April/July , 2009

The Requirements:

• Major in chemical related subject
  
• Demonstrate unyielding Integrity value
  
• Possess outstanding leadership, practice and communication skills
  
• Independent, open mind, mature, Self-starter
  
• Fluent in English & Mandarin
  
• Keen in the manufacture production operation management
