Jotun Coatings (Zhangjiagang) Co. Ltd. (JCZC) is one of Jotun A/S 100% subsidiary in China .It was established in 2004 April, and has a 70000 square meters factory in Zhangjiagang with annual production capability of more than 50 million liters, It is one of biggest and the most advanced coatings manufacturers in China. JCZC is dedicated in protective and decorative coating business.

 

Jotun COSCO Marine Coatings (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. (JCMC), originated from Jotun Ocean Paints Co. which was found in 1993. It is a newly formed 50/50 joint venture between Jotun A/S and COSCO International Holdings Limited with the factory based in Guangzhou. It is dedicated in marine coating business, not only covering manufacturing and sales, but also providing professional on-site technical service to the customers.

中远佐敦船舶涂料（广州）有限公司（以下简称JCMC）的前身为原广州佐敦远洋制漆有限公司，成立于1993年。现在全新的合资公司成立于2003年7月，由佐敦集团和中远国际控股有限公司各自控股50%，主要中国大陆生产、配送及销售船舶涂料。JCMC在广州有一家工厂，主要生产船舶漆。

The International Trainee Programme Introduction

Jotun's operations in China are growing rapidly. We are established with two production facilities, respectively in Guangzhou and Zhangjiagang, and with head office in Shanghai. A major part of Jotun's global Marine and Protective business is linked to the Chinese operation.

 

As part of the overall strategic plan for Jotun Marine and Protective Coatings, we wish to strengthen the marketing、supply chain and purchasing department in the global Marine and Protective business with three mature, dynamic and result oriented Trainees - Marketing/Supply Chain/Purchasing.

 

The International Trainee Programme aims at:

 

Position 1: International Trainee - Supply Chain - China

 Job description

-          Daily production planning including managing the raw material storage.

-          Work on the QC and Process role in the daily work.

-          Handle FG warehouse management and the distribution system.

-          Coordinate with HSE to protect the employees and the environment, and the QA related to ISO and OSHAS certifications.

-          Act as the maintenance role to avoid down time in production, as well as support other important activities at the site.

-          Responsibilities and tasks during the programme will be designed in accordance with company needs and the job holder's competence and interests.

 

Position 2: International Trainee - Purchasing - China

 Job description

-          Review all core purchasing procedure in the different sites and align them as much as possible as to derive a standard purchasing "live" manual, with the objective of removing "MUDA" and to increase work efficiency and ethics.

-          Support the factory audit tasks to be coordinated by Global Purchasing, induced by the need to increase ethics and HSE standards among both existing and new vendors.

-          Play an active role in the sourcing of alternative raw materials as to mainly minimise dependency on sole supply as well as to have better negotiation power with current sources.

-          Support the internal purchasing training program.

-          Responsibilities and tasks during the programme will be designed in accordance with company needs and the job holder's competence and interests.

 

Position 3: International Trainee - Marketing - China

 Job description

-          Conduct gap analysis about the line of business, the market and actors to ensure that Jotun identify new market opportunities, develop feasible strategy and deliver suitable products to selected markets.

-          Assist the Protective Marketing manager in developing innovation plans for new products and markets.

-          Analyze and monitor the shifts of customer needs, competitors' strategy and critical activities, assist in fine-tuning business strategy and defining product mix to ensure support and contribution to the business growth and the development of new products.

-          Responsibilities and tasks during the programme will be designed in accordance with company needs and the job holder's competence and interests.

 

Education level

-          Graduates with master degree or above

-          MBA is preferred

-          Initiative and independence

-          Ability to build networks

-          Exceptional communication and analytical skills

-          Leadership potential

 

 Qualifications

-          No more than 3 years working experience.

-          International working experience is preferred.
