Developer Advocate - Beijing


Responsibilities:
• Advocate for and evangelize products and APIs in multiple mediums.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions with strategic partners to speed adoption and ensure best practices during implementation.
• Present at developer conferences and other events globally.
• Actively blog, podcast and write sample code, developer articles and tutorials for famous developer sites.
• Influence product strategy by working with product management, engineering, marketing, business development and operations.


Requirements:
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a similar technical degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of valid work experience as a software developer, architect, technology evangelist or product manager for relevant web technologies.
• Excellent public speaking skills and charisma, with solid experience presenting at developer conferences.
• Experience blogging and writing technical articles.
• Strong command of the web/AJAX development technology landscape.
• Proven experience working with technology press, online journalists and bloggers.
• Solid programming abilities in more than one of the following languages: Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript and Perl.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.
