The Solaris quality engineering group is looking for an intern of Solaris Security/Filesystems test development. In this position, you will be responsible for Solaris Security and/or Filesystems related test development like Trusted Extension, IPSec, Kerberos, NFS, CIFS and so on. You should be in charge of test suites creation and execution, in addition to working closely with senior team members in other time zones around the world. Responsibilities:
-Developing test suites to ensure the quality of the Solaris operating system, focusing on Security and Filesystems.
-Assist senior team members on test execution.
-Communicating interactively and effectively with English-speaking team members in different time zones.
Requirements:
-BSCS/EE
-Knowledge of software testing methodology, test plan and test assertion development.
-Development experience with Unix/Linux.
-Familiar with C and script programming under UNIX/Linux.
-Basic knowledge on Unix kernel concepts and OS level security.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-Fluent in English communication.
-To be able to work on site at least 4 days per week
