Underwriter –China Liabilities Group （核保人- 责任险部）

Report to: Branch Team Leader / China-Level Underwriting Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

§ Assess, evaluate risks and apply proper pricing, underwriting and risk retention standards on new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations

§ Analyze agents/brokers/client’s portfolio and negotiate coverage and price terms with agents/brokers/clients

§ Serve as a resource for agents/brokers/underwriters, recommend appropriate coverage for risk submitted and assist in resolving complex problems

§ Check policies/endorsements when needed

§ Review new application/renewal requests

§ Provide technical advice to Claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings, etc.

§ Meet with clients with producers when needed to promote AIG added values and sell Casualty product

§ Interact and negotiate with clients directly when needed

Qualifications:

§ Fresh university graduate with insurance or legal major

§ Ability to bring internship/work samples to demonstrate him/her is a plus

§ Ability to express himself/herself clearly in verbal form or in writing

§ Pleasant physical appearance, good team player, and quick leaner

§ Confident and hard-working

§ Career-minded to becoming an insurance professional

§ Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English

§ Good PC skills
