Kernel Testing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities: * Testing kernel bugs and kernel functions. * Building testing environment according to bug description. * Executing the testing. * Check testing result and do some initial analysis. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Good knowledge of Linux installation, kernel building and services configuration. * Familiar with most commonly used linux commands. * Scripting skills, at least one in bash, python or perl. * Strong interest in linux kernel knowledge. * Strong analytical skills. * Ability to communicate effectively in English (at least in reading and writing). * kernel knowledge is a strong plus. * Hardware knowledge of x86 x86_64, IA64, ppc, s390 platform is a plus.

Virtualization Testing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities: * Develop automatic test case to do virtualization machine installation and configuration. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Understanding Linux installation, kernel building and services configuration * Familiar with most commonly used linux commands. * Scripting skills, at least one in bash, python or perl. * Strong analytical skills. * Ability to communicate effectively in English (at least in reading and writing). * Strong interest in kernel or virtualization implementation is a plus. * Virtualization architecture knowledge is a plus. * Virtualization test experience is a plus. * Test automation experience is plus. * Hardware knowledge of x86 x86_64, IA64 platform is a plus.

Hardware Certification Quality Engineering

Responsibilities: * Create test plans for hardware which pending on compatibility testing. * Provide assistance to IHVs on the use, operation and debugging the certification suite and process. * Review and validate the certification results to ensure that they meet or exceed criteria. * Conduct compatibility certification tests on representative hardware. * Post valid certifications and create knowledge-based entries for certified hardware. * Handle representative hardware; includes setup, installation, certification, transfer, etc. * Assist in program development which may include process, procedures and software improvements. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Understanding Linux installation, kernel building and services configuration. * Knowledge of computer organization, design and architecture. * Knowledge of RPM and Anaconda. * Knowledge of Bash scripting and C/C++ programming. * Self-motivated and excellent time management skills. * Strong team working spirit. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * Computer hardware enthusiast is a plus. * Knowledge of server hardware is a plus. * Knowledge of storage arrays and HBAs is a plus. * Knowledge of Python, Perl and Web programming is a plus. * Experience in Quality Assurance is a plus. * Experience in benchmarking is a plus. * Experience in Infiniband network is a plus. * Additional hardware platform (IBM Power, IBM zSeries, Intel IPF) experience is a plus. * Red Hat Certified Engineer(RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Technician(RHCT) is a plus.

Software Engineer - Perl Programming

Responsibilities: * Design and develop Red Hat's portal sites. * Design and develop software tools and statistical metrics as needed. * Design and improve Hardware Certification team's catalogue. * Maintain and Improve catalogue database. * Other tasks might be assigned . Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * In-depth knowledge of Perl programming, Bugzilla and Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Understanding of shell programming and debugging. * Understanding of Linux platform software development. * Experience in Linux installation and configuration. * Self-motivated and excellent time management skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * Strong team working skills. * Experience in Quality Assurance is a plus. * Knowledge of AJAX/C/C++/Python is a plus. * Red Hat Certified Engineer(RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Technician(RHCT) is a plus.

Quality Engineer - Desktop Applications

Responsibilities include: * UI/desktop applications testing in Linux environment and exposed to the latest technologies in the Linux domain. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written). * Multi-lingual skill is a plus.

Quality Engineer - Networking

Responsibilities: * Networking protocol testing in Linux environment with access to the latest Networking equipments from Cisco, H3C and Juniper. * Setting up Networking environment. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written). * Networking background is a plus. * Scripting skills including (Perl, Ruby or Python) and Shell is a plus.

Software Engineering - i18n

Responsibilities: * Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. * Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. * Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Requirements: * Bachelor or above degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. * Understanding Linux/UNIX operating system and developing Desktop applications. * Understanding object-oriented design and coding. * Experienced in Java i18n and C/C++ programming is a plus. * Experienced in a variety of scripting languages, including python, shell and perl is a plus. * Experienced in the packaging and delivery of software for one or more flavours of Linux/UNIX is a plus. * Experienced in developing applications for GTK/GNOME and QT/KDE is a plus. * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
