Job Title: Manufacture Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities include:
• Shanghai Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned products - coordinate activities between the CM and Cisco
• Sustaining Process Improvement - facilitate DRTs, manage quality issues to resolution -product, component, drive problem-solving/corrective action, validate corrective action implementation
• NPI - Solves DFx issues and provide DFx feedback, participates in Proto/Pilot builds
• Look for VE/cost reduction & process improvement opportunities
• Initiate and drive solutions, defines TTQV goals and reviews mfg/test strategies
• May debug complex process and product problems.
• Drive layout production flows and lines for efficiency improvement
• Collect data and analyze yield problems
• Develop solutions to moderately complex problems and drive corrective action
Skills:
• Master Degree
• PCA manufacturing expertise - material receipt, kitting/prepping, SMT, THT, Mechanical
• Assembly, NCM processes,
• Good understanding of process quality drivers & efficiency drivers, DFx
• Familiar with ICT & Functional test requirements
• Strong data analysis & Problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal/team skills - build relationships within Cisco and CM
• Self-motivated, self-directed
• Proficient with written/spoken English
• Proficient with Excel
• Leadership Potential
Job Title: Global Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities include:
• Manages the supply chain for product families at multiple MP a (Manufacturing Partner) sites. Actions may have a global impact.
• Leads, manages and drives the MP as and component suppliers to meet key operational metrics.
• Anticipates supply chain issues before they occur and drives improvements to avoid them.
• Makes some strategy recommendations to manager.
• Leads cross functional teams in developing long-term solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which require cross-functional / cross organizational issue resolution.
• Completes work tasks and makes decisions with almost no direction from manager.
• Goals and objectives are developed independently with final approval from manager.
• Recommends team goals to manager.
• Influence and Impact:
• Impacts the business through accountability for strategic operations plans involving multiple and diverse processes and can go across different product families or BUs.
• Recognized as a change agent and drives decisions to improve and / or optimize performance.
