北京大学中国教育财政科学研究所是由国家财政部、教育部和北京大学联合发起成立的综合性科研教学机构。研究所成立于2005年10月，日常管理和教学科研工作实施指导委员会领导下的所长负责制。北京大学中国教育财政科学研究所依托北京大学的雄厚师资以及良好的教学科研条件，致力于教育财政科学领域的基础理论研究和应用理论研究成果的推广和普及工作，研究所的发展目标是成为国内一流、国际知名的教育财政科学研究机构。
为了更好地服务于我国的教育财政科学研究事业，完善我国新时期的公共教育财政职能，北京大学中国教育财政科学研究所将在未来的一段时期内重点围绕着如下方向开展一系列的科研工作：公共财政研究、义务教育研究、高等教育研究；中等职业技术教育研究；民办教育的制度研究；教育财政史料汇编等。
为了推动上述科研工作的顺利开展，北京大学中国教育财政科学研究所拟在国内、外公开招聘博士后科研工作人员。
一、 岗位职责
寻求具有下述课题的研究基础和研究兴趣的博士后：
1. 公共财政研究课题，1-2名；
2. 义务教育研究课题，1-2名；
3. 高等教育研究课题，2-3名；
4. 中等职业技术教育研究课题，1-2名；
5. 民办教育的制度研究，1-2名；
6. 教育财政史料汇编，1名。
二、岗位要求
1．至受聘之日应具有博士学位；熟练掌握一门外语；
2．有志于从事教育财政科学领域的基础理论研究工作和应用理论研究工作；
3．具有经济学、社会学、教育学、公共管理学和法学等相关学科和方向的专业背景；
4．具有独立从事高水平学术研究活动的能力，能够开设2门以上相关基础课程和专业课程；
5．具有较强的团结协作精神和研究能力。
三、招聘办法

Job Openings for Post-doctorate Scholar
China Institute for Educational Finance Research (CIEFR) was officially established on October 27, 2005, by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Peking University. Dependent on strong research and teaching foundations, and committed to basic theoretical research and its application to policy, CIEFR aims at becoming an internationally renowned first-class research institute for educational finance.
In order to better serve the scientific research of educational finance in China and to improve the financial operation/performance of public education, CIEFR will conduct a series of research that focus on the following areas in the near future: public finance, compulsory education, higher education, secondary vocational and technical education studies, private education and historical research of educational finance, etc.
In order to facilitate the development of such scientific research, CIEFR plans to recruit post-doctorate research staff nationwide and internationally.
Ⅰ.Responsibilities
Post-doctorate candidates must have research foundations and interests in the following areas:
1. Public finance research (1-2 openings)
2 .Compulsory education research (1-2 openings)
3. Higher education research (2-3 openings)
4. Secondary vocational and technical education studies (1-2 openings)
5. Civilian-run educational system research (1-2 openings)
6. Historical research of educational finance (1 opening)
Ⅱ.Requirements
Eligible post-doctorate candidate:
1. Must possess a PhD; and is proficient in a foreign language;
2 Is willing to engage in basic and applied theoretical research in the field of educational finance;
3 Has academic background in one or more of the following fields: Economics, Sociology, Education, Public Management and Law;
4 Has expertise in high-quality academic research; Has independent research ability; Is able to establish two or more related basic and professional courses such as economics of education, education finance, and policy analysis.
5 Has a strong sense of team-spirit and research capability.
Ⅲ.Application Procedure
1. Application Materials: (Please submit all application materials by email and mark as "Post-doctorate application")
1) Detailed CV and cover letter;
2) Selected publications: 3-5 publications in the field of application;
3) Letters of recommendation of three associate professors;
4) Intended research focus (as listed in Responsibilities) and corresponding detailed research plan;
5) Copies of all higher education diploma.
2 Applicants who are not invited for an interview within a month may consider their applications unsuccessful. The materials will not be returned under such circumstances. During the interview, please present all academic diplomas and related personal materials in original form.
3 The final decision will be made one month after the interview by the selection committee of CIEFR.
4. Starting period for post-doctorate research: January, April, July and October each year. Deadline for submission is Dec. 25, 2008.
