Underwriting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
To learn all aspects of the underwriting process
Provide full support and backup for Underwriters
Ensure all underwriting data is kept up to date and accurately entered on to the relevant systems
Monitoring and chasing premiums
Ad hoc research and project work
Producing full and accurate data for various reporting functions
Building and maintaining relations with brokers and clients to best serve the interests of the Catlin Group
Representing the underwriter in his/her absence
Minimum Requirements:
A strong command of English and Chinese languages.
First Class bachelor degree (preferably in Finance, Economics or Law, but other disciplines will also be considered.) or above from an established University (no more than two-years work experience or fresh graduates)
The successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive training programme which includes training opportunities in London, Singapore, and/or Hong Kong. The position offers excellent opportunities for career advancement in a dynamic organization.

Remuneration:
RMB 6,000 per month plus benefits.
