美资公司招聘Sales Assistant

Summary: This is a 10-14 month entry level position to qualify new graduates for our Sales Team. Goal is to learn about our products and our commitment to service while demonstrating the individual's ability to advance within the organization.

SA will handle all import/export shipments to a) gain familiarity with part numbers and b) learn detail and accuracy by verifying all freight charges. SA will learn cost control by working to minimize our freight charges. In addition, SA will learn products and applications by preparing and refreshing our marketing materials (catalogs, website, demo's, etc.) and managing our Baidu marketing program. SA will help expand our Industry Cooperation program by regularly updating selected members of our industry on our product lines and availability (sales requiring very little application knowledge). Finally, SA will look for sales opportunities for hard to move ("C") products. SA will help all members of the Sales Team make plane, hotel and other reservations related to their business travel.

Job Description:
1.)   Coordinate all import/export shipments to insure timely receipt & delivery of our products; verify and work to minimize freight charges from these shipments.
2.)   Create and refresh marketing material (catalogs, website, demo's, etc.) promoting our brand name products and DB; SA will also manage our Baidu marketing program.
3.)   Work with sales team to promote specific product lines within our industry.
4.)   Research opportunities for the sale of specific products.
5.)   Other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:
1.)   Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
2.)   Evidence of extracurricular activities during university (no work experience required).
3.)   Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills (both English and Chinese).
4.)   Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
5.)   Website and other IT experience preferred.

Salary: Base plus bonus.
