Associate Quality Assurance Engineer
Responsibilities: Candidate will perform a variety of quality assurance tasks for an enterprise software application, including some or all of the following: 1)Develop test cases and execute test cases against software applications 2)Develop and maintain test automation 3)Follow quality assurance standards and processes 4)Report software defects and track quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test coverage 5)Communicate status effectively to management

In this role, you will assist in the completion of project tasks under the guidance of more experienced personnel as a contributor to the design and delivery of the PTC Solution(s).
Participate remotely with implementation teams delivering PTC product development business solutions to customer requirements.
This entry level position will allow the ideal candidate to gain knowledge in the execution of assigned project tasks including: customization, GUI development, testing, debugging, system software, communications components, middleware, development tools and deployment support.
Primary Responsibilities: 1) Participate in the design and development of solutions center offerings and production support services for the implementation of PTC related products including Windchill customizations. 2) Demonstrate technical ability in the use of the Center Development tools (e.g. Rational Rose, NetBeans and JUnit). 3) Execute on the design of PTC Solutions to customer requirements. 4) Document tasks and results as assigned. 5) Demonstrate technical/programming skills, e.g. Java, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL or Demonstrates skill working with SGML/XML Schemas and Style Sheets 6) Promote the corporate mission, vision and values in order to maintain quality, professionalism and team spirit amongst all stakeholders. 7) Status Reporting. 8) Periodic reporting and case studies to capture success/lessons learned. 9) Project execution. 10) Quality of programming deliverables for clients (i.e. problem reports, bug reports, QA reports).
Experience/Educational Requirements: 1) Bachelor’s degree required (in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering) or an equivalent mix of experience and technical certification, typically to 1 year experience in a related field. 2) Possible travel depending on project up to 10% of the time. 3) Proficiency in web development technologies, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree in CS or MIS. Localization Quality Assurance Engineer(韩语Korean)
Job Description Summary: Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for localized products. Follows quality assurance standards and processes. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Requires knowledge of localization QA process. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software quality assurance field as they relate to localized products. Performs a variety of quality assurance tasks. Follows disciplined software quality assurance practices. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a Group Lead or Manager. Good knowledge of Korean, native Korean preferred.
Role:Product Support 1) Builds on a working knowledge of QA test plan and test case writing using design notes and functional specifications. 2) Becomes proficient at test plan execution and result communication. 3) Log product deficiencies via SPR’s using the Software Tracking System CaRDs. 4) Achieve a working knowledge of applicable automated test writing, both API and GUI. 5) Be an active Localization QA representative for product related Cross Functional Teams (CFT). 6) Share technical information with the team and to a wider audience when appropriate. 7) Provide timely and complete information and documentation to product stakeholders. 8) Respond to requests for information in a timely manner.
Role:Software Maintenance 1) Demonstrate a working knowledge of the interoperability of third party products as they relate to PTC products. 2) Acquire expertise in diverse system platforms. (i.e., Win 2000, Solaris, HP, etc.) 3) Perform installation and configuration of localized PTC components and related third party products. 4) Demonstrate a working knowledge of all relevant PTC components.
Role:QA Test Environment Support 1) Install and maintain current localized product environments in accordance to the compatibility matrix in all languages supported by PTC 2) Ensure assigned QA machines are up to date with latest release or maintenance software. 3) Promptly resolve any outstanding issues or problems around assigned product areas. Ensure QA web page reflects current status of assigned systems and their availability. 4) Follow organization process and best practices with respect to Localization QA.
Additional Skills Required 1) Good command of Korean required, native Korean preferred 2) Good documentation skills 3) Good inter-personal interaction and communication skills 4) Good understanding of and basic skills with Windows 2000 and Unix (Solaris and HP) platforms 5) Good understanding and basic skills in web-based technology and popular applications (web server, servlet engine, etc.)
