Company Background

P&D HOSPITALITY CONSULTANTS is a firm of international property consultancy
that specializes in the hotel industry established in the early 90's in
London. P&D advises retained clients of appropriate hotel opportunities for
the purpose of acquisitions, development projects from green field site,
feasibility study, market positioning, components of the hotel in mixed
development, financial projection, recommendation of international acclaimed
architect and interior architect, hotel operators and management contracts
with or without equity participation at international gateway cities.

The Company was founded by the principal, Bernard Chan, in London in
advising Asian clients to invest in hospitality opportunities particularly
in Europe and the USA in capitalizing the trough of the worldwide investment
cycle that was most apparent in these regions. Since the mid-nineties, P&D
relocated itself in Hong Kong due to the necessity of keeping in close
communication with its majority Asian based clienteles.  

P&D remains as a boutique consultancy firm, however it prides itself in
providing a leading edge of knowledge of the hotel market via its extensive
network cultivated throughout the years. In its history, P&D has involved in
numerous assignments from green field development feasibility study to
management procurement, acquisition and project finance working in
conjunction with architects, major hotel groups and international funds and
investors.

P&D has been representative for various international brands in their
development in North Asia to include Golden Tulip, Rendezvous Hotels &
Resorts International and Pacific International, etc.

In recent years, P&D has been partner with Savills Greater China

In 2007, P&D founded Select Hotels & Resorts (Asia) Limited as majority
shareholder in the development of this exclusive luxury boutique hotel brand
for China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, The Philippines, Vietnam
and Brunei.

Job description:
1. Assist in gathering basic key data of city destination inclusive of
economic, transport and  tourism, etc
2. Assist in compiling hotel industry data - existing and future
supply
3. Assist in retrieving hotel performance data
4. Assist in analyzing trends

Knowledge and skills:
1. Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
2. Familiar with basic market research skills
3. basic marketing knowledge
4. good communication skills

1. Postgraduate or undergraduate degree in Business Administration,

1. Resourceful in identifying suitable hotels to become our member
hotels
2. Communicate with hotels and travel agents and other partners
3. Follow up with the marketing program between hotels, travel agents
and other partners
4. Assist Marketing Director in liaising with hotels, travel agents and
other partners

Knowledge and skills:
1. Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
2. Familiar with basic market research skills
