-PC skills

Position 1 - Investigations Intern Job Description:
The Investigations Team is part of IBM Internal Audit. Our main mission is
 to conduct independent reviews of allegations of fraud and violation of
IBM's Business Conduct Guidelines.

The intern will assist investigators with transaction analysis to identify
 exceptions to IBM's processes and potential violations of IBM's code of
conduct. In addition, the intern will assist investigators during meetings
. This internship will offer the intern an understanding of a large corporation
's operations and processes, as well as internal controls and risk identification
. Other skills that the intern will gain include interpersonal and communication
 skills and logical thinking skills. The internship will be based in Beijing
; some travel may be required during the internship.

Candidates who are responsible, take ownership, and are team players are
preferred.

Internship Period: July to August 2009. The internship may be extended depending
 on business need and performance.

Position 2 - Internal Auditor Job Description:
Our mission is to conduct independent and objective assessments of IBM's
system of internal control.

The intern will work with a small team of auditors to conduct audit engagements
, each approximately four weeks in duration. On each engagement, the intern
 will be given individual scope areas where he/she will be responsible to
 thoroughly review and understand process risks, select and test a risk-based
 sample, and effectively communicate scope area results with business process
 owners and IBM business leaders. This internship will offer the intern an
 understanding of a large corporation's operations and processes, as well
 as internal controls and risk identification. Other skills that the intern
 will gain include interpersonal and communication skills and logical thinking
 skills. The intern may be required to travel for the duration of the internship
.
