Job Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for developing, deploying, and communicating Honeywell’s China strategy.
• Conduct customer interviews and segmentation analysis based on needs, value, and buying behaviour.
• Analyze competitors’ strategies and determine implications for Honeywell’s ability to differentiate in the market
• Develop strategies aligned to external market opportunities, competitors’ strategy, customer segments & needs
• Define differentiated offerings with the right value proposition. Drive value-based pricing.
• Work closely with Sales management to deploy various growth initiatives to capture growth opportunities.
• Lead development of business case modeling for existing & new businesses, programs, and initiatives.
• Align deployment plans with other Marketing functions, including Offer Management, Training, and Marcomm.
• Measure, analyze and report on business performance of strategic initiatives.
• Develop strong professional networks within the company and with key customers / partners
Qualifications & Attributes
• Graduate degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering, or relevant discipline. Overseas education and advanced degree (Master, MBA) preferred.
• 10 years of working experience, with significant experience in strategic marketing functions of management consulting.
• Strong and demonstrated business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills – Able to collect and analyse business & market data, identify issues, synthesize and draw insights, recommend and present results
• Strong program management skills
• Strong communication skills – Able to structure and articulate a compelling argument. Strong presentation skills. Good command of verbal and written Mandarin and English is a must.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a hands-on working attitude – able to work the details; successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Passion for succession. Effective in team and matrix environments.
• Knowledge of building automation and similar B2B industry is a plus.
• Ability to travel both domestically in China and internationally
