Position Description
Position: Management Trainee (China Field)
Report to: Supervisor in each branch
Job Summary:
This position is targeting at high caliber undergraduate or graduate students. The total duration is 12 months during which the first 2 months is for basic training on different modules (i.e. project management, service management, sales, finance and manufacturing) and basic soft skills. The trainee will then be allocated to a branch office to undergo on-the-job training based on his/ her selected module for around 9 months. The trainee will be assigned at least a specific project by the mentor. Afterwards, he/ she will join the SEED Campus Asia Pacific, located in Songjiang, Shanghai for 1 month classroom training on advanced generic and leadership program. TKE will provide competitive salary and welfare to the trainee during their training period. After the program is finished and performance evaluation is confirmed to be successful, TKE will appoint the trainee to a specific position based on his/her performance and capability.
Major Responsibilities:
Need to have strong initiatives to implement and accomplish the project, they also need to best utilize the resources in the company that includes but not limited to his/her mentors, team members and supervisors in order to proceed his/her project execution capability.
One mentor will be assigned for selected module. The trainee needs to keep a close contact with his/her mentor and get coaching to improve his/her performance and business / product knowledge.
Need to submit regular reports for performance and progress review.
Understand the assigned project, expectation from the supervisor and timeline of completion
Actively acquire knowledge and skills from the Supervisors and colleagues through the module from the program
Complete and maintain the weekly log book on weekly basis which contained the contents, learning and understanding of that particular week. Submit the log book to the Supervisor each week, discuss with him / her on outstanding issues and get his / her sign off, provide original signed copies of weekly log book to MT program Coordinator
Implement and accomplish the project / learning on time within the resources/ time line
Demonstrate strong initiative to learn and best utilize internal resources
Sit for the examination at the end of the module to demonstrate and prove written understanding
Proactively seek direction and advice from Supervisor
Keep close contact with the Mentor to get adequate coaching opportunity
Provide feedback and communicate with MT program Coordinator in ensuring the effectiveness of each training module
Make presentation to the Program Committee in China Field Headquarters at the end of the module
The successful candidate must meet the following qualification:
Bachelor or Master Degree in the famous university.
Major in the following subjects:
Service/ Project/ Manufacturing Module: Engineering
Very good spoken English, CET-6 passed.
Strong interpersonal, communications skill, analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
Mature personality, Able to work in a team, open minded and flexible.
Strong learning desire and willing to work under pressure.
Willing to work in Zhejiang
