Key positions are held by experts with on-the-ground experience and deep industry know-how. To infuse new ideas into China’s nascent commercial real estate investment market, INSITE also employs creative, young professionals to make sure the tenant mix matches the target customers. INSITE operates a wide range of retail projects, focusing primarily on these three types of portfolios: greenfield development, restoration and improvement, and operations enhancement and management. For greenfield projects INSITE manages the construction of a building or several buildings on an empty piece of land. For restoration and improvement projects, INSITE takes building projects that have already been completed and rejuvenates them with improved leasing and development. This kind of complex or building might be empty and lacking the necessary improvements for a complete operational mode. INSITE either continues construction based on the original plans or restarts and rethinks the project. For operations enhancement and management, INSITE takes an already operational but struggling project and revamps the management to increase footfall and sales.
