POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Manage and execute Production schedule coordinating with other functional areas to accomplish company objectives.
-Organize, guide and supervise workforce, while maintaining a good work environment that minimizes turnover.
-Implementation of lean manufacturing concepts and Kaizen activities in order to achieve a continuous flow in the Production floor
-Lead, support and propose initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity
-Provide training and development for Production workforce.
-Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement in the areas of Production, Engineering and Quality
-Assure safety, order and cleanliness of Production areas by promoting adherence to 5S and safety standards
-Coordination of projects and day-to-day activities to achieve Quality, productivity, and scrap reduction goals
-Apply problem solving techniques to address Quality and productivity issues
-Provides technical advice and troubleshooting on complex processes and automated equipment.
-Develop and implement productivity improvement and cost reduction projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor degree in Engineering
-5 Years Experience in manufacturing operations with at least 3 years experience in a supervisory role
-Strong leadership, interpersonal communications, and teamwork skills.
-Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Total Quality Management and Statistical Process Control
-Knowledge of English language with both written and verbal skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Advanced degree in business or a technical discipline.
-Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, CPk, FMEA, TQM, and 5S.
-Highly flexible and creative with the ability to succeed in a very dynamic environment.
-Knowledge of plastic injection molding and die casting process preferred.
-Knowledge of ultrasonic welding and PLC programming
-Ability to repair and provide maintenance equipment
