Procurement Intern
Market intelligence and in-depth supplier research for target commodities/products, including industry analysis, benchmark companies supply base assessment, supplier profiles
- Supplier communications & follow-up to screen out the qualified suppliers to targeted commodity based on initial wide research of Supplier Profiles.
- Supplier communications & follow-up to ensure timely response to the BP RFI/RFQ/tender or e-auction requirements
- Ad-hoc support/assistance provided to the International Procurement Center commodity managers
- Help to coordinate logistics contractors to support IPO export transportation and monitor contractor performance
- Help to update market intelligence data and monitor supply market dynamics (e.g. macro economics, commodity market price trend, industry competition, etc.)
- Help to update the internal communication information
- Good analytical & market research skills
- Pro-active self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision
- Good communication & engagement skills
- Committed team player
- High personal integrity and ethical standards
- Good English language skills (both speaking and writing)
- Basic knowledge of economics
- Basic knowledge of international trade
- Education background in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering discipline is preferred
