广州市南沙区新近成立的香港科技大学霍英东研究院大气研究中心现有一博士后副研究员职位可供申请。本中心的研究集中在空气污染的数值模拟，空气污染气象学，或相关的物理。有关本研究院的信息可在主网页fy***.cn[点击查看] 看到。

职位描述

1.           以中尺度数值气象模式（如MM5 或WRF）和空气质量数值模式（CMAQ和CAMx）进行大气模拟的相关研究。

2.           领导中心的研究助理进行研究。

3.           编写和提交研究建议。

基本要求

1.           有大气科学或相关学科博士学位。

2.           有良好的计算机技能，特别是Fortran和在Linux环境下的shell script编程。

3.           有良好的英语沟通能力。

4.           有独立工作的能力。

5.           有提出研究课题和或建议的能力。

6.           有大气科学领域博士后研究的经验优先考虑。

薪金

Position of Postdoctoral Research Associate

in Atmospheric Modeling

Applications are invited for a position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Atmospheric Research Center (ARC) of the recently established Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) Fok Ying Tung Graduate School at Nansha, Guangzhou. The research interests of ARC focus on the numerical modeling of air pollution, air pollution meteorology, and or the relevant physics. Job Description

1.          To perform researches in atmospheric modeling with mesoscale meteorological models (e.g. MM5 or WRF) and air quality models (CMAQ and CAMx).

2.          Supervision of the research assistants at ARC.

3.          Preparation and submission of research proposals.

Basic Requirements

1.        Doctoral degree in atmospheric sciences or related disciplines.

2.        Good computer skills, particularly FORTRAN and shell scripts programming in the Linux environment.

3.        Good communication skill in English.

4.        Able to work independently.

5.        The ability to raise research topics and or proposals.

6.        Postdoctoral research experience in the field of atmospheric science is a definite advantage.
