Mainland Graduate Engineer Programme

We are recruiting recent Mainland engineering graduates (Master or Bachelor degree) with excellent academic achievements, good analytical skills, excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese, high development potential and dedication for a career in railway planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance.  Based on the academic background and interests, the Graduate Engineers may specialize in the following disciplines in our Corporation:

*           Rolling Stock

*           Signaling

*           Permanent Way

The Mainland Graduate Engineers will undergo a structured training programme of two to three years, with at least one year training in Hong Kong.  They are required to participate in the training programmes which are recognized by the relevant professional institutions in engineering.  At the end of the training programmes, they will sit in the professional examinations to fulfill the qualification requirements by these institutions.

If you are the recent graduate in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Building Services, Civil, Environmental or Control Automation & Instrumentation with CET 6 or equivalent, you are invited to apply by filling in the attached application form together with your resume in English and email it to mtr-gerecruit@ on or before 5 March 2009.  Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend the online test.
