Quality and R&D Laboratory
Major Responsibilities:
"       Chemical analytical analysis and evaluation of different kinds of chemical and process materials
"       Responsible for initial and batch release for chemical and process materials
"       Support and control of related in house processes (performance checks)
"       Responsible for supplier qualification / process and product audits / lab alignment with suppliers and external institutions
"       Support of problem solving process, failure analysis and implementation of solutions
"       Independent analysis and interpretation of test results including the documentation, reporting and proposing recommendations
"       Accountable and responsible for all tests and where applicable evaluation and production release of locally produced materials and processes
"       Responsible for the introduction of new colours and the co-ordination and realization of lab release
"       Contact person for BMW Group / TP-5 working group chemistry and process; Ensuring that tests are realized according to BMW and ISO conform specifications and guidelines, Contact person and support for ZEUS release (chemical release) in JV China
Qualifications:
"       Bachelor degree or above, major in chemistry or material science
"       English fluent, German would be an advantage
"       PC skills
"       Analytical thinking
"       Ability to operate self responsible and independently
"       Presentation skills and report writing
"       Communication skills
"       The following experience and knowledge are of advantage:
o       Several years experience in quality / lab functions
o       Experience with paint and process materials
o       Experience with consumables / petrol / oils solvents etc
o       Background in analytical and paint chemistry
o       Knowledge of color measurement and evaluation of surfaces (X-rite, gloss etc.)
o       Knowledge of analytical methods (FTIR, GC, ICP)
o       Knowledge of (international) standards and test methods, e.g. ASTM, ISO
o       Knowledge and understanding of quality system principles
o       Experience in paint technology and industry
o       Knowledge of automotive industry
