Online Multimedia Content Producer

We are seeking creative and entrepreneurial individuals willing to participate in all aspects of the formation of an exciting new-media startup. The website will feature a variety of China executives, consultants and entrepreneurs delivering presentations related to business in China.

Main Function: Managing of Video Production Team

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

1. Developing a budget and milestone-based schedule for content production.

2. Designing a workflow and reporting mechanisms to ensure smooth operation and accountability of the production team.

3. Building and coordinating teams in Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai to manage all stages of video production, including:

。 Identify potential speakers and develop new content offerings.

。 Liaise with and schedule recording sessions with speakers

。 Visit speakers and record their presentations (20 minutes per topic)

。 Edit the presentation to add title screens, titles and PowerPoint Slides

。 Export recording video to a format suitable for website publication (FLV)

Requirements

。 Creative, ability to think “outside the box”

。 Superior spoken and written English and Chinese skills essential.

。 Strong analytical and problem solving skills

。 Ability to work independently. Able to work under pressure and multi-task efficiently. Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Willing to work overtime as needed

。 Proactive positive work attitude, strong communication skills, high EQ and team player mentality.

。 Ability to work seamlessly in a multi-cultural environment.

。 A deep understanding of current and future trends in the online media industry.

。 A broad understanding of current and future global business trends with a focus in China.

。 Digital audio/video production experience desired.

。 Knowledge of digital audio/video editing software (Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premier) desired.

。 Web design experience desired (HTML, Flash, Scripting Languages).

。 Graphic design experience desired (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
