Total Petrochemicals China Shanghai Branch is now looking for motivated candidates for the following position:

Position:  Technical Support Engineer

Location:   Shanghai

Objectives/Key Responsibilities:

-         Provide Technical Support to Total Petrochemicals PE customers in the Film applications

-         Trouble shoot quality issues raised by customers

-         Solve PE processing issues with Blown and Cast Film customers

-         Develop new film formulations with customers

-         Area of responsibility will be throughout the country 

-     Report to the Business Manager

-          Work closely with central laboratory in Europe

Profile Requirement:

-         Degree in Polymers/Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

-         Good communication skill with managers, team members and customers

-          4 years related working experience in PE film industry or Technical Support in major PE producer. May consider persons with hands-on experience in R&D department in major PE film or packaging company 

-          Good command of verbal and written English and Mandarin is required

-          Frequent traveling within the country is required

-          May require extended training in Europe
