  Job Role:  Windows  Systems Administrator

General Info 
 
The Windows Systems Administrator works within the IT Services team to support all Windows server, the Citrix server and desktop environments in Acxiom’s Global Service Center in Nantong.  In this role, the Administrator: 
• Builds and secures Citrix and other Windows servers • Installs, configures and maintains Citrix software, including XenApp, XenServer and
XenDesktop • Provisions desktops and applications to users • Supports Windows XP (virtual) desktop users • Manages server backups and restores systems as required • Works with and manages vendor relationships • Participates in a global Citrix administration team • Plans and runs small projects as required  • Responds to internal requests, and recommends alternative options if appropriate • Provides input into design and architecture of infrastructure solutions • Writes documentation – builds, procedures, changes made • Participates in system testing and developing system standards • Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing
 The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of solid Windows server administration experience, with Citrix administration experience preferred   Exchange and web server administration experience would all be an advantage, but are not requirements for this role.  

 Job Requirements
 
Essential • 3-5 years solid experience administering Windows servers 2003 • Understanding of Active Directory • Knowledge of server hardware • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability • English – written and oral (able to communicate with associates in the US and UK)
  Desirable
• experience in administering Citrix software • Storage area network (EMC) administration experience • Exchange administration experience • Knowledge of Windows XP desktop • Any experience with network administration would be well regarded • MCSE  training/certificate • Citrix training/certificate
