*Intern Job Title: Test Engineer Intern

 

*Job description:

Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school

 

*Qualification:

Majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering. Better to have the experience on web base tool design, and familiar with PC database application language.

*Intern Job Title: Assembly Engineer Intern

 

*Job description:

In this position, you will be working under the guidance of a supervisor. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short period during breaks from school.

 

*Qualification:

You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Additional qualifications include:

¨         Strong skills on documentation & technical paper translation

¨         Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit

¨         Good English communication skills

 

 

Number 3

*Intern Job Title: Industrial Engineer Intern

 

*Job description:

IE interns will be paired with a buddy for training and direction, and will be responsible for completing one or more of the following (or similar) projects:

 

Project 1) Auto UPH program implementation. 

The intern will learn and implement the Auto UPH (Units Per Hour) system to determine the PUPH number for toolsets/modules in the whole line.  After getting training on the AutoUPH program, the intern will work with each toolset/module to :

¨         Investigate the specific data needed for the UPH system for that specific toolset

¨         Confirm data is available, correct and usable

¨         Understand how to use the UPH system with that model

¨         Pass off the Auto UPH system to Area IE for the module

 

Project 2) Develop and implement a process for sustaining tool data integrity

The intern will develop a business process to insure 100% accuracy in the data systems that track tool capital data.  To complete this project, the intern will:

¨         Learn about tool identifying data (e-tag, serial number, LEC, entity code, etc)

¨         Understand current process and identify any gaps for getting new tools identified and labeled as they are installed

¨         Develop and implement a process to insure no gaps in tool data integrity

¨         Perform audits to insure process is effective and data for all tools in the factory is accurate

 

Project 3) Value stream mapping (VSM)

The intern will use VSM to understand material flow for individual modules or whole factory, and make recommendations on material flow to reduce unnecessary steps, quicken material flow, reduce cost, and improve quality.  To complete this project, the intern will:

¨         Get trained on VSM (if not already trained)

¨         Go module by module to explore, analyze, and make recommendations

¨         Make recommendations on how further to use VSM in the factory

 

*Qualification:

¨         Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering

¨         Training in Value Stream Mapping a plus

¨         Must be interested in spending time in both the factory and office area.

¨         Must be a team player, able to form new relationships and work with a variety of stakeholders.

¨         Must work full time during internship.

¨         Must be able to write and speak English

*Intern Job Title: New Product Integration Summer Intern

 

*Job description:

¨         Design Online PCS Dash Board for Every module for both MFG and Engineer use

¨         Co-work with ATTD automation to either program or pilot test some of yield related applications.

 

*Qualification:

¨         Good at both spoken and written English.

¨         Skillful at programming with knowledge and experience in C++/C# programming.

¨         Understand the software engineering or program life cycle.

¨         Good understanding of statistics and probability.

¨         Current university students, either undergraduate or graduate.

¨         Engineering background, electrical/electronic engineering, computer engineering, mathematics majors are preferable.

*Intern Job Title: Manufacturing Tech Supervisor Intern

 

*Job description:

Responsible for supervising the activities of product teams or staff in a manufacturing area. Assesses personnel and material levels to determine production schedules. Assigns personnel and monitors the flow of work in process through the manufacturing facility. Higher job levels establish operating policies and procedures, coordination of multiple functions within a manufacturing facility, establishing strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives. Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment. Plans and schedules daily tasks'' uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense

 

*Qualification:

¨         Bachelor’s Degree or over on Electronic Software Engineering.

¨         Master with webpage developer with Visual Studio and especially on revision 2005.

¨         Master with standard database application with SQL Server 2005, and skill on basic database knowledge conception.

¨         Skillful on development with Excel VBA on Microsoft Office Application.

¨         Have experience on project management.

¨        Have strong ability to learn.

*Job description:

To develop a MD5 generate and compare tool for test program file CE! check.

 

*Qualification:

¨         Solid EE background;

¨         Good programming skill. Able to program C#, ASP, VB and Perl.

¨         Good English skill which could present project status to other country’s engineer in telephone meeting.

*Intern Job Title: Layout Industrial Engineer Intern

 

*Job description:

Work as layout tech to help layout IE daily work during IQ (floor marking, tool move-in etc.), also can help IE perform layout drawing design and strategic space analyses and what-if analysis on space optimization to support upside.

 

*Qualification:

¨         Strong AutoCAD skill and mechanical background.

¨          Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel. Powerpoint, Word) and very good communication capability.

 

 

Number 8

*Intern Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern

 

*Job description:

Mechanical POC (point of connection) checking in CD1 & CD6 walkable ceiling for Tool Installation and QA/QC. Mechanical PM/OP information tracking and equipment information update.

 

*Qualification:

Basic mechanical engineering knowledge-major in HVAC is preferred. Be familiar with CAD, windows office software. Be able to read mechanical system drawings. English level above CET-4

*Intern Job Title: Financial Analyst Intern

 

*Job description:

Provides varying levels of counsel and general financial information to operational business groups or factories to assist and/or drive the business decision making process. Analyzes and defines potential loss areas and determines appropriate type and level of loss protection to be insured. Participates in appraisal and adjustment proceedings. Credit incumbents analyze customer and potential customers, financial condition and credit ratings to set credit limits and terms. Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

*Qualification:

You should possess a Master's degree or an M.B.A. in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Additional qualifications include: Strong analytical, accounting and controls, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, business partnering and communication skills; Firm grasp of financial statements and their interrelationships and demonstrated skills utilizing the Microsoft* Office* Suite of tools.

*Intern Job Title: Yield Engineer intern

*Job description:

·         Detect potential excursions proactively through yield data analysis

·         Provide accurate and comprehensive data analysis to capture excursion signals to guide task force team and speed up problems solving (Yield Issue control)

·         Set up yield improvement roadmap and lead related modules to execute yield improvement projects faultlessly

·         Driving and prioritizing integrated experiments to troubleshoot and optimize process flows

·         Owning particular sections of process flow, and responsible for its optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement goals
