PATTERN MAKER（样板工）1人

-          Creates pattern for skirts and ladies pants initial through to final bulk production status based on the inputs from the Design department germany with the CAD system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Creates initial proto pattern with the CAD System according to sketches, samples etc. from the Design department in germany based on basic  

  pattern and/or according to the construction rules from germany.

- Initiate in cooperation with the garment merchandising department the production of the first proto sample

- Amending of the pattern after fitting and evaluation of the proto samples according to the requirements from the design department in germany

- Creating the technical instruction and size specifications for the styles

- Managing proto approvals on fit and workmanship critical styles together with development, quality department and design.
- Updating size specifications and technical instruction according to the amendments,

- The pattern maker is accountable for the final call in fit related issues during the entire development and production process.
- Supports Marketing, Products Development and Design on all fit and measurement related issues.
- Ensures all pattern related by ready cut off dates are met and that documents are provided to the respective parties within the given time lines in

  apparel calendar.
- Corrects and informs responsible parties as needed.
- Keeps the respective interfaces updated concerning size spec and pattern related changes.
- Make the grading for the pattern according to the internal rules.

REQUIREMENTS

- Textile school training in pattern making basics  
- Technical college / fashion school training in pattern making/grading or equivalent education

- At least 3 years job experience as pattern maker
- Apprenticeship as a tailor/ dressmaker/ industrial clothes manufacturer with first job experience as a tailor is an advantage

- IT skills (CAD System Gerber or similar programs, MS Office)
- Fluent English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
