Company: Monsanto China Business Division: Row Crop
Department: Technology Development Position: Data/GIS Specialist
No. of Position: 1 Working Location: Beijing

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- General Work Related Duties
a) Data Management and Analysis
? Manipulate data collected from field, including that of TD trials, technical survey and outside resources.
? Analyze data and present results to various audiences in convictive ways.
? Operate GIS software to geographically position products and demonstrate results.
b) Data Quality Control
? Optimize trial allocation and design through statistical approaches.
? Standardize data collection to minimize errors.
? Monitor and improve testing efficiency and accuracy of trials.
b) TD IT Support
? Provide training on all TD applications.
? Coordinate with global supporting team to customize applications.
? Trouble shooting for all TD applications.
d)  Other ad hoc jobs as assigned.

- Environment, Health and Safety
  To ensure safety at work and home. Keeping in mind Monsanto’s Safety Pledge and ensuring nil reportable incidents during the year.

- JOB REQUIREMENTS
a) Education: Minimum bachelor in Agriculture/Statistics
b) Experience: 1-3 years experience in related activities.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
Required Skills:
? Current undergraduate or graduate student with experience in statistical analysis
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and SPSS or any other statistical analyzing software

? Strong interpersonal, organizational and strong collaborative skills
? Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
Ideal Skills/Experience:
? Familiar with Entomology and insect Morphology with relevant field work experience
