Description
 
SAS GA Fixed Assets  team is looking for accounting professional to work together with the team. Our team is globally responsible for fixed asset creation, movement, reporting and physical inventory. We provide our services to all Nokia group companies and Nokia Siemens Networks.
 
The accountant for this position will be located in Beijing, China, but she/he will work closely with our Finland team to provide service to our customers all over the world. Other than daily asset related transactions, he/she will also work on process improvement, documentation and policy communication with customers.

Qualifications
 
Bachelor degree or above in Accounting or Finance
- Fluent spoken and written English skills ( it's necessary in our daily work )
- Work experience in financial accounting area, SAP experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive and customer service oriented attitude, willingness to work under pressure

- Participates as individual contributor to team, usually in a support role or entry
level professional. Semi - routine or standard tasks. Decision making limited to standard applications in
own work.
Impact
Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Errors may have limited impact on function/project/customer.
Key Tasks
1. SERVICE DELIVERY AND PERFORMANCE:
- Processing accounting transactions and reporting in accordance with process design, concept and service levels defined in the Service Description
- Contributing to continuous learning by own exemplary behavior.
 2. QUALITY
- Proposing and performing corrective actions when quality controls reveal errors in the process performance.
- Performing issue resolution activities in accordance with the SAS support model.
- Ensuring that the deliverables are compliant with internal and external quality requirements (e.g. NAS, NARI, SOX).
- Applying SAS management process to escalate deviances from set targets

3. COOPERATION
- Communicating with colleagues and participating in communication with business partners and other SAS teams. - Promoting continuous learning by own exemplary behavior.

Network
Colleagues in other SAS processes and locations; Business Partners in other processes and functions as
defined in the Service Description Individual Portfolio Degree in accounting or Master degree in accounting and several years of work experience in financial accounting. On top of this, you have a good working knowledge of SAP Financials and Excel.
It will also be an asset if you have a good understanding (speaking and listening) of Japanese, Thai or the other languages of South East Asia.

Environment
Most work carried out according to procedures. Operates within guidelines for non-standard situations.
Requires supervision and coaching from SLM or peers. Gathers relevant information to support problem solving and decision making.
