Quality or more specifically Industrial Quality in L’OREAL includes quality control (from raw materials to finished goods), quality management, quality assurance, quality documentation & last but not least, manufacturing process. You will be in permanent contact with:

l        your external customers: suppliers, subcontractors, authorities…

l        your internal customers: colleagues in the plants, counterparts in China/Asia/Europe,contacts in headquarters…

 

You will be completely responsible for the quality indicators you are managing and in ooperation with your colleagues you will have to ensure that the quality objectives are reached.

 

• You are autonomous, organized, reliable, meticulous and optimization minded

l        You are a logical and rational thinker who can simplify a complex problem / situation

l        You are a natural team player who is able to listen and communicate

 

Learning For Development: A large proportion of your development is on-the-job with real

hands on projects. If you are recruited into quality, it is likely that you will be given different assignments in specific quality areas: quality labs, manufacturing process, quality management to understand all the L’OREAL standards & local government requirements. In addition we help you to make the transition from study to business with a comprehensive

schedule of formal courses.

 

After your 12 months, you are likely to take up a position as Quality Controller, Chemist or

Process Engineer within one of the L’OREAL plants in China.

Many options are open to you, for example:

1. Progress in Quality in China – from Quality Controller/Chemist / Process Engineer to Quality Manager – gradually taking on greater responsibility.

2. Move functions – through your interaction with different functions within the business, you may wish to progress your career in another related field, such as production, logistics, purchasing...

3. Move Internationally – for recruits with particular flair and business talent – an International career is a possibility.
