万国纸业太阳白卡纸有限公司是国际纸业和太阳纸业共同组建的一家合资公司。国际纸业和太阳纸业各持有新公司50％的股份。该合资公司于2006年10月26日正式成立，主要生产涂布白卡纸，目前拥有员工近1700人。合资公司目前拥有两条生产线（17#纸机和18#纸机），另一台新机器已于2008年7月上线。
International Paper Sun Cartonboard Co. Ltd. is a new founded company. Initially, JV is a 50:50 ownership between IP - Sun The new company was founded on Oct. 26th, 2006. It focuses on coated paperboard production and has about 1700 employees. Besides the two machines (PM17# & PM 18#),which are in production now, another new machine has started up in July of 2008

International Paper has plans to grow its overseas business in the next few years to 50% of its total revenue. Asia is widely recognized as a region with large potentials to grow in future, and especially China owns the largest potentials. In 2005 International Paper has taken steps to support its growth in the Asian market including relocating its Asia headquarters from Hong Kong to Shanghai and acquiring full ownership of a previous joint venture with Pacific Millennium. 2006, International Paper and Sun Paper cooperated with each other and founded the new company. Sun Paper was founded in 1982. After twenty years’ hard work, Sun Paper has grown from a tiny paper workshop into a nationwide company integrating paper-making, chemical production, foreign trade, power generation, R&D, timber plantation and capital investment. It is the largest privately owned and managed paper business, and the largest producer of premium coated packaging board in China. Employing more than 7,000 people, Sun Paper has the consolidated asset of RMB3.6 billion and annual capacity of 1 million m/t.
