Shanghai Novel Chemical Technology Co., Ltd is a high-tech enterprise, specializing in research, development, and production of fine chemicals, new energy and new materials. We have our own R&D center, Analysis center and Production line. The Production line is located in the famous Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park (SCIP) of the Jinshan District and covers an area of about 3.33 hectares. Currently the production capacity of molecular sieves, adsorbents and catalysts is a little over 500t/y.
The R&D and Analysis center is nearly 2,000 square meters and is located in the Qilai Industrial Park just off of Yishan Road. The R&D staff is well-equipped and committed to developing new products that meet the highest quality standards. To ensure this high quality the R&D staff uses a wide variety of tests and equipments, including x-ray diffractometers, automated surface area and porosity analyzers, FTIR Spectrometer, simultaneous thermal analysis, automatic temperature-programmer chemical adsorption apparatus, gas chromatography, and high-performance liquid chromatography, to name a few. All of the equipment used by the R&D center meets or exceeds the industry standard. These modern scientific instruments provide accurate data for the R&D staff to not only develop new products but also monitor products currently in production.
In addition to the development of new products in the zeolite field, we also have developments in fine chemicals and high-tech & innovative materials fields. Some of our most promising developments include our high-grade Organic Silicone, hybrid vehicles materials, super capacitor materials. In addition, the company also develops a series of photocatalytic products for civilian market.
