中科院先进院是深圳唯一的国家级科研机构，由中科院、深圳市政府和香港中文大学出
资共建。现有科研人员600多人，其中海外名校毕业的博士超过半数。

实习地点：深圳
实验室：环绕智能实验室
（Ambient Intelligence and Multimodal Systems (AIMS) Research Laboratory）

环绕智能实验室主任Helen M. Meng（Phd. MIT），副主任Lan Wang(Phd.Cambridge)。
实验室目前有7名学生，分别来自深圳大学、中科院研究生院、中科大、北京大学和南
京大学。

客座学生

招聘人数：3~4名

招聘条件：
      1.在校硕士或高年级本科生，英语专业、计算机相关专业均可
      2.已完成基础课程学习,实习期3个月以上,需导师或学院签字同意
      3.必须具有优秀的英语口语和听说能力
      4.（Optional）熟悉C/S架构、XML和模式识别开发经验者，熟悉Linux、C#优先

工作重点：完成中科院先进院和深圳大学合作的交互式语言学习项目

实习待遇：
   1. 报销单程来深费用（按火车硬卧标准）

    基于语音识别的多媒体资源处理方法应用与在线教学系统（申请粤港合作项目）

Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) is established from Chinese
Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the
government of Shenzhen. SIAT is a national research institute which is
engaged in the research and development in advanced technology.
We have established a Ambient Intelligence and Multimodal Systems (AIMS)
Research Laboratory, our research areas are:
Multimodal systems
Robust speech recognition
Natural language processing
Multimedia mining and information retrieval
Spoken language translation

We are currently looking for highly qualified master candidate who are
interested in speech recognition, multi-modal system and natural language
processing. Our team members have strong research background in
international level. We provide cutting edge research supervision and
training. We would give reference letter to the universities in Hong Kong,
UK, USA and France for who would like to continue their study n PhD.

Our team members are:

Prof. Helen Meng, Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and
Engineering Management and Associate Dean of Research in the CUHK Faculty of
Engineering. She received her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and
Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Electrical Engineering, all from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT).

Dr. Wang Lan, received her PhD from the Cambridge University. She obtained
her Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology and Master
in Engineering from Peking University.
