Research Intern (full time)

Working duration: 1 year

Expected starting date: July 2009

Working department: research department

 

Primary responsibility:

 Carry out comprehensive industry research under the guidance of senior professionals via publicly available information, attending industry conferences, cold calling companies and executives, research through internet and through company proprietary database.

 Support research department to do literature search, retrieve, assess and synthesize company, industry and economic data, etc.

 Prepare accurate and clear charts/database/memos to present findings

 Be self-starters; effectively contribute in a team environment and willing to undertake secretarial and administrative work when necessary.

 

Expected qualification:

 Education: students of bachelor or master degree; advanced degree/science and engineering background/experience in industry research and information analysis is a plus

 Skills:

- Multitasking capability

- Strong written/verbal communications skills both in English and in Chinese

- Excellent IT skills, especially in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

 Others:

- Hardworking, outgoing, organized, and eager to learn.

- Personal interest on industry research
