现招聘以下职位: Sr. Optical Design Engineer (高级光学设计工程师)
WORK LOCATION: China - Shanghai
HEADCOUNT: 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and develop new or custom designed EDFA products.
* Analyze and respond to customer and marketing requirements to meet new and specific customer needs.
* Work with mechanical, hardware design, software, and test engineers, and technicians to build, test and verify the new products.
* Integrate and summary all technical perspectives at milestones and present reports to core team to achieve design target.
* Support the transfer of new design to manufacturing, and solve all design issues. Interact with the new product introduction group to assist in the introduction to manufacturing of new designs.
* Use existing simulation tools and experimental expertise to characterize prototypes.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
1.MSc in Optics, Electro-optics, Physics or Electrical Engineering with strong optics and fiber optic background.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of active and passive components, subsystem modules, and their test methods in optical fiber communication.
3.Ability to use optical simulation tools, Labview, VB, some data acquisition programming, and to characterize prototypes.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of optical test solutions, and has the ability of experiments and trouble shooting.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of data consolidation and analysis, and ability to use Excel Micros and tools.
6.Ability to solve complex issues in optical design and product development.
7.Interpersonal skills necessary to lead others and to work effectively with team members.
8.Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
9.Project management experience is desired.
10.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
