Title:Project Manager-Coating and Technology

Responsibilities:

To project manage all the coating activities for both the HVOF and APS coating systems. To develop and bring into stable production all coatings for the Vanes and Blades. To create, develop and implement processes and processes improvements, to advance the manufacturing technology of SGTP

Responsible for the co-ordination, planning and actioning of Non-conventional manufacturing activities, in particular the thermal spray processes

Develop and implement robust production processes relevant to manufacture our product.

Receive the appropriate releases from our customers reflecting our compliance to the quality requirements in terms of functionality, turn-around time, and cost.

Communicate and co-ordinate the requirements for successful coatings between the three departments of PD, that is Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing as well as our customers.

Plan the future requirements for consumables, fixtures and parts required for the annual program of deliveries.

Train and mentor the team of coating specialists from all PD departments.

Report to Management on a regular basis, the status of all coating programs.

Initiate the offload programming tool for SGTP and manage the project under budget and schedule

Meet the requirements of the current Qualification Plan for development and production of parts.

Develop strategies and propose the programs targetting quality improvements(cost, turn-around time) for the manufacturing technology portfolio at SGTP

Monitor and report on the technologies trend developments relevant to SGTP's product/process vase i.e.competitors, universities, other industries,…

Techniques (Technologies / Methodologies / Professional Knowledge)

Experieneced in assigned production process

Educated in mechanics or related subjects with university (or higher) degree

Familiar with the operation and CNC machines

Knowledge about drawing

in-process quality assurance

Team working experience

English communication ability during working and training conditions

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control(SPC)

Experienece in process development (DOE, Process Diagnosis, Process Analysis)
