Government trainee program is a government sponsored program for local unemployed youngsters. The trainee who enrolled in this program will work at Intel for training purpose and get paid from local government. In this program, Intel will provide on-hands working opportunity and systemically training for the trainee for a period from 3 to 12 months.

 

The eligibility for trainee applicants:

1.      For the graduate who holds a Shanghai Hukou and under 30 years old or the graduate who graduated from any academia institute in Shanghai during 2009.

2.      The trainee is in unemployment status and has “Labor Manual”.

Government Trainee - Software Engineer

 

l           Position Description & Responsibility

Be responsible for developing industry-leading software solutions for a variety of applications.  Work with system-level software and hardware for processor generations, drive advance desktop videoconferencing systems and enable consumer data services in a software architecture environment.

Ø           Enhance Intel® architecture to support and drive multimedia and the Internet, including high-bandwidth networking, firmware, bios, operating systems and compilers. 

Ø           Develop world-class servers and management technologies, including C and 80x86 assembly in real-time, multi-threaded environments, analog and digital hardware and software O/S.

 

l           Requirements

Ø           Bachelor or above Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering and related majors.

Ø           Command good technical skills

Ø           Must be comfortable with working in a fast paced environment.

Ø           Good sense on team work, quality and discipline is highly preferred.

Government Trainee - Hardware Engineer Intern

 

l           Position Description & Responsibility

Integrate advanced microprocessors, chipsets, digital/analog components and firmware into motherboards, networking adapters and systems that meet the requirements of leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the industry.

Hardware Engineering includes systems design, analysis, simulation, validation and sustaining of PC boards, chassis and systems, network products and storage systems. Areas of specialization include digital/analog/RF circuit design, systems integration and peripheral design and evaluation.

 

l           Requirements

Ø           Bachelor or above Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and related majors.

Ø           With the right combination of skills and experience in: CAD tool development, architecture design validation, VLSI/ASIC/logic, C++ etc.

Ø           Command good technical skills

Government Trainee - IT Support Engineer Intern

 

l           Position Description & Responsibility

As an IT team member, you'll play a major role in helping us increase our Internet presence by providing data hosting, Internet connectivity and Web consulting services to external customers. IT and Services provides development and support for:

Ø           Web applications

Ø           Network infrastructure and distributed systems 

Ø           O/S and applications

Ø           Database management systems

Ø           Remote access, firewall, software security and anti-virus systems

Ø           Develop and support SAP* business-to-business solutions.

l           Position Description & Responsibility

Ø           Assist CSR and Community Team and work with site Intel Involved steering council on the plan, implementation and follow up of Intel Involved in Community events; Work with project leader and employee communication to write and post community event stories on website, site bulletin board and newsletter; Assist to apply CSR award and collect successful CSR case studies.

Government Trainee – Admin Intern

 

l           Position Description & Responsibility

Ø           Coordinating travels

Ø           Handle purchasing order

Ø           Scheduling meetings which includes arranging audio bridge, conference room booking, ensuring availability of meeting support equipment

Ø           Calendar management

Ø           Logistics arrangement support for Face-to-Face meetings

Ø           Office supplies and stationery management
