具体要求及职责如下：
Huntsman has an immediate opening for a dynamic individual with proven capability as an Application Technologist (Intern) in our Performance Products Division – Coatings, Polymers, and Resins (CPR) Group at our Asia Technology Center located at Minhang Econ. & Tech. Development Zone in Shanghai.
Key Accountabilities:
·Understand the concept of polymer
·Testing and development of new formulation in epoxy application
· Understand industry and customer requirements to identify
opportunities for existing and new products into the regional CPR market
· Communicate results fully to the relevant stake holders
·Technical Report writing
·Provide technical support to Huntsman customers that may require
travel to the customer’s site
· Follow the project direction and strategic intent Educational Requirements and Work Experience
· A minimum of an advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical
Engineering, or related field is required
Special Skill Requirements and Qualifications
· Must have a level of proficiency with internet, email and Microsoft programs
· Knowledge of application process in coatings
·Knowledge of epoxy chemistry
· An eye for detail and a disciplined and scientific approach to
problem solving
·Ability to have good interface with customers
·Ability to identify and address critical quality, production, safety and environmental issues during the product development cycle
· Communicates effectively both verbally and written along with maintains effective work relations with customers both internal and external
· Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success
· The ability to work in a team with members of diverse backgrounds
will be critical
·The ability to self-manage and progress work programs under general direction from the Regional Technical Manager and communicate widely within the team.
